Take part in this rich, educational, and highly entertaining adventure into the world of Mark Twain with Warren Brown and Mark Dvorak. Warren Brown has spent over thirty years researching the life and work of Mark Twain and portraying him in spoken-word performances across the country. Folk musician and songwriter Mark Dvorak provides the sound track to Brown’s performance with old-time banjo tunes, period songs, and audience participation.
This nationally recognized theatrical storytelling program promotes an appreciation for humanity, education, and literacy. An uproariously authentic characterization of Mark Twain’s stories and lecture series with a first-person, Chautauqua-style audience question and answer session included. Warren Brown, a Mark Twain scholar, “bridges the lessons of history with the demands of contemporary living” in the spirit of America’s greatest humorist.
