Stars live for billions of years, but each star is unique in brightness, size, and temperature. Stars wage a constant battle between gravity and pressure, shaping their long, brilliant lives. Kristie Nault, PhD, Assistant Professor of Earth Science at College of DuPage, will explore how astronomers piece together a star’s life story from brief snapshots and introduce you to the women whose discoveries reshaped our understanding of the cosmos.
